What vehicles are eligible for donation?
Most vehicles are accepted, regardless of whether they are running or not. To be eligible, you generally need a clear title and the vehicle must be in an accessible location for our towing partners.
What types of vehicles do you accept?
We accept a wide range of vehicles including cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, motorcycles, RVs, We can also process specialized fleet vehicles and construction equipment for our partner charities.
How long does the vehicle pickup process take?
Once our towing partners receive your donation information, they typically contact you within 24 hours. Most vehicles are collected in 48 to 72 hours at a time that works best for you.
Is the vehicle donation service really free?
Yes, our donation service is absolutely free for all donors. We cover towing, processing, and title transfer costs, ensuring your contribution proceeds fully support charitable initiatives.

Is my vehicle donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Auto Donation Network works exclusively with registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
When will I get my official tax receipt?
Final tax documentation is typically processed and mailed within 30 days of the vehicle's sale, providing you with everything needed for your annual tax filing.
What documents will I receive for my records?
You will receive an initial receipt when your vehicle is picked up. Following the sale, we will mail you a formal acknowledgment letter or IRS Form 1098-C.
How is the donation value determined?
The IRS generally allows you to deduct the gross proceeds from the sale of the vehicle. We utilize an expert auction network to ensure the highest possible sale price.
After Your Donation
What happens to my vehicle after pickup?
Your vehicle is evaluated to ensure it generates the maximum possible contribution for our partners. It is typically sold at a specialized dealer auction or processed responsibly at a certified recycling center if it is no longer road-worthy.
Will I receive progress updates?
Absolutely. We provide full transparency with automated email updates at every milestone, including when towing is completed and when your donation processing is finalized.
